We removed the original small deck for these homeowners who wanted more space for entertaining and relaxing around their above-ground pool. Their wishlist also included a larger entry and exit area into the backyard since the old deck just had a few stairs that led onto a concrete pad. We applied for building permits and once the permits were approved, we built the new deck in just two days! Now the pool is completely accessible from the deck and ladders over the side of the pool are no longer needed.

Garner Backyard Deck Construction
House Fix, Inc. was happy to build a deck for some great homeowners in Garner, just in time for the summer season. We took down the old deck, which was approximately 12 ft x16 ft, and removed all the debris from the area. We put in concrete footings to make the new deck nice and secure. The new wood deck is much larger at 16 ft x 23 ft, giving much more space for entertaining. Black spindles were added to the perimeter of the deck. We built in a custom gate with wheels, which will keep the family dogs on or off the deck, as needed. Lastly, we built sturdy, wide steps down into the back yard.
